Legends No. 129

Legends safe no. 129 is a distinctive masterpiece from the epoch of Napoleon III. It was constructed in Wallonia, Belgium in 1884 and fascinates with its clear lines and its lion’s feet gilt with 19-karat 1884 white gold—in homage to the dukes of Brabant, whose coat of arms still bears a lion today. The interior fittings are of remarkable variety. The glazed and illuminated coffer lid can be opened by remote control to reveal a fully functional humidor made of Spanish cedar. This opulent functionality was specially designed by the engineers at Döttling to enhance the original piece. A cocktail bar is integrated into the actual safe interior, which breathtakingly contrasts with the black concert grand lacquer of the outer surfaces when the door is opened.
