Jaeger-Lecoultre

Jaeger-LeCoultre presents the Hybris Mechanica 55 in a Döttling safe

The Hybris Mechanica 55 – this is the trilogy of masterpieces from Jaeger-LeCoultre and simultaneously the most extraordinary trilogy in watchmaking history. The unique ensemble consists of three timepieces, which have a total of 55 complications. Each of the three wristwatches alone would be considered a masterpiece: the new Hybris Mechanica à Grande Sonnerie, the Hybris Mechanica à Triptyque, and the Hybris Mechanica Gyrotourbillon. To underline the exceptional nature of these particularly rare and equally refined wristwatches, Jaeger-LeCoultre has decided to deliver the three masterpieces in a Döttling safe, ensuring the three watches a monumental presentation. Like all Döttling safes, this double-door, high-security safe is handmade and meets the highest standards of quality and safety. The 1.5-ton “package” for the Hybris Mechanica 55 trilogy is a further proud indication of craftsmanship from the Döttling manufactory.

Hublot Kryptex

Hublot Kryptex

Hublot and Döttling work together on a legend

Together with our partner Hublot, we have realized an extraordinary project, which already today has the potential of turning into a legend – as it is inspired by the eponymous masterpiece of engineering art attributed to none other than Leonardo da Vinci. We have transferred the magnificent Renaissance model into the formal language of the current day, giving it a good deal of state-of-the-art technology along the way. The body of the Kryptex is made of black anodized aluminum. Even in a closed state, the crystal glass plate offers impressive insight into the interior, which is covered in the finest Alcantara. After the code has been entered and a delicate lever actuated, the Kryptex opens, revealing the high gloss-polished stainless steel bolts of the locking mechanism. With its pioneering blend of form and function, the Kryptex is equally ahead of its time as were the works of Leonardo da Vinci.

Hublot Ferrari

Hublot Ferrari

Döttling presents a masterpiece

Hublot and Ferrari – two large, successful, high-tech, and avant-garde luxury brands that work successfully together. One result of this collaboration is the Big Bang Ferrari, equipped with the in-house movement Unico. This consists of 330 components, has a power reserve of 72 hours, and oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. To present this masterpiece in an appropriate manner, Hublot delivers the chronograph with a Döttling watch winder, which has been completely manufactured from solid aluminum. A characteristic Hublot feature is the matt black finish. The seams are kept in Ferrari red.

Döttling and Chronoswiss

Döttling and Chronoswiss

The best of both worlds

Technologically speaking, the Döttling Gyrowinder is a state-of-the-art masterpiece. At the same time, its design recalls the rich tradition of nautical navigation instruments of days past. This creates interesting parallels to Chronoswiss: the products of this traditional brand also contain loads of high-tech – as numerous patents prove. Yet, the look of the chronographs is aligned to archetypes from the turn of the 19th to 20th century. This common ground forms the perfect foundation for a unique project: the Döttling Gyrowinder in Chronoswiss design.
